Cheap Mouse, Pro Performance? Armor M1 Tested

The Armor M1 gaming mouse from Armor Shop is one of those products that doesnโ€™t try too hard to impressโ€”but still ends up doing a solid job where it matters.

Right away, the first thing you notice is how incredibly light it feels. At just 46 grams, it almost disappears in your hand. If you play fast-paced games like FPS titles, this makes a real difference. Quick flicks feel smoother, and long gaming sessions are less tiring. The lightweight โ€œairframeโ€ design might look simple, but it actually works in your favour.

Performance-wise, the mouse is powered by the PAW3327 optical sensor, which can go up to 12,000 DPI. In real use, it tracks accurately and feels responsive enough for competitive gaming. Youโ€™re not getting top-tier esports hardware here, but honestly, for the price, it performs better than expected.

Another nice touch is the cable. Instead of a stiff, annoying wire, Armor uses a paracord-style cableย about 1.8m, which is flexible and doesnโ€™t drag much on your desk. Pair that with the smooth PTFE feet, and the mouse glides effortlessly.

Comfort is also decent. Itโ€™s shaped for right-handed users and works with most grip stylesโ€”whether you prefer palm, claw, or fingertip. Itโ€™s not the most premium-feeling mouse out there, but itโ€™s comfortable enough for daily use.

Customization is available too. You can tweak DPI settings, polling rate, and buttons using the software (though itโ€™s only available on Windows, which is a bit limiting).
